I am a documentary cinematographer who thrives in the intimate creative environment of small crew filmmaking. I freelanced for many years, first assisting veteran cinematographers and then camera operating and directing photography on documentary, commercial, and music video projects. I currently work full time as a docu/news cinematographer for Newsy. I enjoy using my camera to illustrate the significant detail of a story that texturize the people who tell it. My work has appeared on A&E Docs, Vice News Tonight, Newsweek, Smithsonian Channel, FYI, and the Pulitzer Center.
